A Hearth and Forge Novel
Loki is drawn to Ashville, Illinois in the search for his banished daughter Hela, but the strong current of godly magic running through the college town isn’t what keeps him there.
Shaylie’s had enough ‘boyfiends’ to last a lifetime, but she can’t get past the kissing—probably because there’s this other thing about her.
Remi’s not your ordinary high school English teacher—but that’s why his students love him, and maybe the new god in town does, too.
I am once again making words for stories set in Ashville, IL. This time, Judy’s former roommate Remi is getting bit by the love-bug by an unconventional… uh… well, it’s Loki. Don’t worry, it is that Loki, but not the Marvel Loki. He’s looking for his daughter. You may have heard of her. Her name is Hela. (Marvel got that story wrong.) Anyway, this has already been through a couple different iterations — it started out that it was supposed to be about Loki and Shaylie, a Valkyrie, but it seems that’s not quite what was happening.
Anyway, this draft has been put on hold, too, since even since stumbling across a couple other plot gems I’ve come up with some major revisions that need to be made before I can even think about more words for this, and I’m also working on revisions for Ain’t No Angel, which is Cam’s not-a-love story, which is due out early next year.
